Sunwarrior, a vegan supplement company in Southern Nevada, wants to redefine the way the world sees vegans and vegan food. The organization may be growing within the last several years, catering to the requirements of vegetarians and vegans interested in fitness, but situations are shifting. Sunwarrior has begun to achieve people who aren’t vegan or might not have any idea what vegan means.

“From inception we may be commited to being 100% vegan, but we don’t want that to scare off customers who aren’t vegans,” Said Brent Hauver, cofounder of Sunwarrior. “We’ve grown into some surprising markets. We’re pleased to keep these things and provide them with plant based alternatives for healthy living. Our supplements are really for everybody, not only vegans and vegetarians.”

The different types of vegetarians may be confusing for individuals, making the theory tough to approach. There are lacto, ovo, and lacto-ovo vegetarians, fruitarians, flexitarians, pescatarians, macrobiotics, and vegans. Each one of these eats an even more plant based diet, but some eat meat after they want, some eat fish, some eat only fruits, seeds, and nuts, some eat eggs, and a few eat dairy.

“Vegan is just about the easiest type of vegetarian to define,” said Hauver. “Vegans don’t use any animal products, period. This makes our supplements a proper accessory for any diet or lifestyle. Our vegetarian protein powder, designed for smoothies, is raw, vegan, plant based food that also tastes fantastic.”

Vegans don’t eat meat, fish, poultry, eggs, dairy, or honey. They avoid refined food that often involve animal byproducts, like refined sugar and gelatin. Vegans also avoid using products made from or by animals including silk, wool, fur, leather, and cosmetics or soaps who have animal products inside them.

“Most people think there should be nothing left for vegans to consume or that our meals should be bland and boring,” Hauver said. “This just isn’t the truth. Not at all. With fruits, grains, vegetables, tofu, tempeh, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, legumes, and our supplements, the recipes are endless.”

“What is vegan?” Hauver said, “It’s a great plant based lifestyle with plenty food choices and most a couple of advantages. Eating vegan food doesn’t automatically allow you to a vegan, but it’s a good step toward improving physical fitness.”
